FindaNewHome.com is the number one new homes website

According to the Hitwise custom category for new homes portals, FindaNewHome.com earned the number one position with a 49.91% visit share in the week ending 18 July 2009, leaving SmartNewHomes in second place.

This is particularly impressive given that FindaNewHome.com was a full 14.05 percentage points behind Smartnewhomes only a year ago.

Incidentally, the no.3 position in the market is held by new-homes.co.uk with a fractional 0.64% of the weekly share of visits.

With only two portals dominating the new homes portals market, it looks like this competition is set to continue for the foreseeable future.
